Youth Admin Job Description

The Islamic Association of Raleigh (IAR) serves a growing Muslim community with an active base of over 3000 weekly participants. This is an active center providing services for both genders and all ages. Among the activities IAR coordinates are programs focusing on Muslim youth. Muslim youth programs and activities were originally designed to provide supplemental spiritual, social, educational, and recreational Islamic development for Muslim youth in order to tackle the ailments of being raised in an environment void of so many teachings of Allah.

There are existing programs for the youth such as Friday Night Program, Youth Camp, Youth Retreats, Youth Day, etc. These youth activities are currently being managed on a voluntary basis. In order to maximize the performance and efficiency of these programs, the IAR has created a "Brothers Youth Administrator" part time paid position to oversee and manage existing programs as well as add new programs.
