2011 Tax Receipt Errors
We thank Allah (SWT) for all the blessings He bestowed upon us as individuals and as a community. We thank all of you who have been supporting your Masjid financially and through your valuable volunteer time and efforts.
Please note that the 2011 tax receipts that have been mailed out to your home addresses may contain incomplete information. These discrepancies were a result of our software error and it has been fixed. Today, Inshaa-Allah we will be mailing out new receipt statements to all our donors. We appologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and we thank you for your understanding and continued support. May Allah (SWT) accept all our good deeds. Ameen.

Fundraising to help victims of Syrian uprising
The Social & Welfare Committee will be conducting fundraising on Friday January 6 to help the suffering people of Syria. The money collected will be sent through Islamic Relief.
Entire towns and neighborhoods have been isolated since the 2011 uprising began in Syria. In many communities, people are forced to remain in their homes because of the violence. They cannot commute to work, school and other places of business, or get supplies or medical care. This makes life unbearable for people who already have little access to food, water, medical care and electricity.
Please donate generously to help your brothers and sisters facing difficult times in Syria.
Please buy a $50 ticket for a Refugee Winter Emergency Kit from Imam Baianonie, Sr Amira Naji or Br Maher at AlBaraka Market on Hillsborough St
Fundraising for IAR playground
Al Iman School is selling Citipass coupon books as a fundraiser to raise money to purchase a swing set for the IAR playground. The coupon books sell for $25. They will be available for sale in the lobby after Friday prayers and directly from the school office.
Shura Elections
Shura elections for the 2012-2014 term were not needed since the number of nominations matched the number of Shura positions for the elections. The IAR bylaws mandates 20 Shura members.
